Nicolette Mallow is an artist: internationally published award-winning Writer, Dancer, Vocalist, Thespian and Model. Writing is Mallow’s strongest artistic talent and she has written 100+ publications in the United States and Europe. Presently her portfolio submissions for various competitions—including both individual and group work—acquired 12 national awards or scholarships in different industries. Obtaining two degrees from the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD), she has a B.F.A. in Writing and a Master of Arts degree in Business Design & Arts Leadership (formerly Arts Administration). Born and raised in Texas and NYC—Mallow is also a world traveler that lives for art and loves to learn.
Featured in publications such as Texas Monthly, Outside magazine, Examiner.com, AXS and Wide World Magazine (London, UK)—additionally, Oakley/REVO flew Nicolette out to National Geographic headquarters to interview sponsored athlete for The North Face & photographer for Nat Geo, Jimmy Chin. Working with Press and Publicity teams from companies such as Sunshine Sachs, Fons PR, Frank PR and CW3PR—Mallow has covered hundreds of media events and in the process attained Press Credentials to cover events for companies including SXSW, Prevention Magazine, HBO Films, The Hollywood Reporter, The Blanton Museum of Art, Texas Film Awards (hosted by Austin Film Society), Cine Las Americas Film Festival, Euphoria Music Festival and so on. She has also written for Savannah Magazine, SALiT, a radio station operated by EMMIS Communications, District newspaper, The University of Texas at Austin and the Thinkery. In her spare time, Nicolette is also creating a magical realism novel and turning her nonfiction memoirs into short story novellas.
